You can call 503.916.2000 and ask for television services regarding ordering one from them.  Unless I hear otherwise from you, we'll shred the check you sent to us. Terribly sorry for the inconvenience.

Anyone who emailed me an order got this already

IMPORTANT!!!: When you call to order, the May 7 show was the Red Cast and the May 8 show was White.

Slideshow

I regret to inform you all that the slideshow will not be available. I seem to be unable to locate it on my computer. If this changes, I will let you know right away. Terribly sorry. This is very disappointing.

Happy Hour, May 22

Finally, it's time to toast with some real suds!

Join Kathy, Jim and other Annie parents for the Annie "happy hour" celebration at Bridgeport Brewpub at 13th/Marshall in The Pearl on Friday, May 22.  Happy hour is from 4-6, but people can stay until whenever.  Kathy's husband is paying for the beer, but drinks wine and food are no host, as is you pay for your own.

Look for Kathy and the Annie t-shirts when you arrive.

Kids are optional but feel free to bring them if you can't find other arrangements for them or just want to bring them.

Questions?  contact Celeste or Kathy W. the true "Annie P.I.C." (parent-in-charge) with other questions.

Hope to see everyone there.

Video? Pictures?

I wonder who still reads this...

Anyway, we will be releasing our archival video for an appropriate "donation" of $10. You can go through the district, but they charge $20. If you send us the ten, I will make you a copy of the specified cast and mail it to you. Lemme know.

Also, we are releasing the slide shows for $5. Same process, just let me know which cast you want.

Finally, if anyone has any pictures they took final dress or before, and you would be willing, send them to me... I want to put some online. Let me know if you do not want your child's or your own pictures online.

Parents and Cast Members

I'd like to apologize to anyone who was uncomfortable with the extreme "blue humor" of the parody written and performed by the tech crew for the show.  Typically the script is not shown to me prior to performance so that I too can be surprised by the parody.  I was indeed surprised and some of the things in the parody would not have been approved by me, had I looked at the script in advance.

I trust that you all know that I would never purposely make anyone uncomfortable and want people's  memories of the play to be happy ones.  I know this to be true of the tech crew as well, who no doubt were "blowing off some steam" after a long process of being very careful not to embarrass the young ones in the show.

Again, please accept my humble apologies and know that in the future I will request to see a copy of the script before the parody is performed on future closing nights.  We had a wonderful run and I thank each of you for helping to contribute to the success of "Annie".

Closing Notes

Hey all... I just wanted to reiterate how amazingly proud I am to have worked with all of you. Thank you all for letting me share this experience with you or your child. This has been the most rewarding experience I can remember. I know I speak for more than myself when I say that this is the biggest production I have ever worked on. This show involved about 200 people. It was hard, and there were times I wanted to curl up in a corner and poke anyone who comes near me with a sharp stick. That being said, you are all amazing.

Any last thoughts for anyone still reading? Post here.

Today (04/06) - UPDATED

Pick-up rehearsal is today. The go is at 4:00. This means that actors should be CHECKING THEIR PROPS for the show at around 3:30 and warming up 10 til.  PLEASE CHECK YOUR PROPS!!! This will let us avoid such mishaps as the christmas wreaths being on the wall in the first scene in Warbuck's Mansion.

Tonight's rehearsal WILL NOT be in dress or make-up. Sorry for the late notice.

Costume Notes

If you can help with wrapping costumes, just call me directly (503-516-6090.)  I am aiming to be there after final show, and if there will be any workers there on Sunday, I could meet people there then.  After that, the real world and real work interferes and all I can say for sure is the next time I could be there is before 4 PM on Tuesday May 12th.  If and when I have actual volunteers lined up, I can be more specific about when to meet you.
Thanks!!
Marychris Mass

A few more remarks

Thank you all for a great opening weekend. Nothing but compliments on the show so far!

One thing: Some people are confused about my post as to the buy 1 get 1 for tickets... The information that was provided to me for that post was incorrect. I have since taken it down, and I will try to figure it out soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Remember, Pick-up rehearsal on wednesday!

A note for possible parent volunteers

- We need more volunteers!
- Please coach your children on being respectful and mindful of the parent volunteer
- Please bring water and snacks
- If possible, please be helpful to the volunteer by offering their assistance if they are around but unable to commit to a shift.

Just a few notes

You guys rocked again! This is proving to be one amazing show! Keep it up... I'm so, so very proud.

One thing about sound though... "Mic's are not magic" in the words of my sound designer. The only question a sound board operator wants to hear is "Can you turn their mic down". The only good answer is "It's off."  I need you guys to project. There is nothing more I can do to the mics to get them to be louder. Don't worry about being too loud. Really Belt your Lines and songs. The biggest issues are Easy Street and the servant numbers. I know the orchestra is really load, but they can't really play louder...
